Ring of Power is a dynamic metal duo hailing from the southern region of Sweden. Formed in 2022, the band consists of two musicians, Mikael Holst (Timeless Miracle) and Magnus Kyhle (Exit Sanctum), who share a passion for creating powerful and evocative music. Their name, inspired by the epic tales of fantasy, reflects their ambition to craft music that is both grand and immersive. Ring of Power’s music is a fusion of traditional heavy metal, power metal, and elements of symphonic metal. Additionally, they draw significant inspiration from the music of the 80s, incorporating the era’s iconic sounds and styles into their compositions. Looking ahead, Ring of Power plans to continue writing and recording new music, with a full-length EP in the works. The first single “Pray for Death” is soon to be released on all relavant streaming services. The song deals with the horrors of nuclear warfare and is inspired by the 1980s style of heavy metal.
